Maori Octopus to my eye. Dark Rust colouration and it appears to have diagnostic finger like papillae on mantle. But hard to be 100% certain.

I didn't think the underside of the arms were orange enough to be O tetricus but maybe they are more variable

Juvenile Calamari Squid. Pygmy Squid are tiny, less than 2cm long and only have small fin flaps near end of mantle.
