Hi donnanchris,

Terrific, many thanks, fingers crossed here too!

If still around, they will be sitting on the foliage of Banksia shrubs.

I am easiest to contact via Facebook Messsenger where I am on as 'Allen Sundholm'.

Cheers,
Allen

Well well well, this is most interesting! I reckon this can only be, as suggested, Cyrioides australis, but a dark form intermediate with the now-junior synonym called tridens, formerly regarded as a separate species. Was the specimen retained? If not, can it / others like it please be collected, and a few sent to me (happy to cover post and packing), with the remainder deposited in a museum or the ANIC? Cheers, Allen M. Sundholm
