Do these leaves' undersides have hairs, especially along mid-vein and the secondary (side) veins, please ?
A fine detail hard to see in these otherwise fine photographs.

There's some Cryptocarya spp. which naturally occur in NSW, which have not yet been included in the botanical key in the Flora of NSW online PlantNet .

Could this identify to any other candidate species, please ?
Including any other species not currently in the botanical key in the Flora of NSW online PlantNet ?

Your awareness please, including region–there awareness please .

All the above for re-checking this identification including key botanical features, before i confirm this identification .

Thank you for comments Jason. I will endeavour to relocate the tree and update my photos accordingly.

No worries. Even if you do not re-locate this tree.
Perhaps looking closely into your originals of your photographs as shared here,
you may make out hairs on the leaves' undersides –simply this small detail is all i need to check in order for me to confirm this identification .

Hi Jason , I've updated the photos to include one of a close up of the hairy venation on the underside of the leaf.

Awesome work ! Thank you!

This fine photograph added of the leaf under-side close-up assists identifying this tree, more again likely _Cryptocarya rigida_.

Fertile material of flowers' and or of fruits', details, likely will provide evidence enough to confirm this identification.

[Edited out my suggested options, upon realising the recent recording date was changed from 2024 Oct. 22nd original recording date,
due to this new helpful photograph added today,
hence the first photograph showing starting flowering was in 2024 Oct.
not recently, so no evidence to actually think of starring flowering at the moment].
