Hey Nette, great capture. Just a quick tip for the future if you are trying to take an image of a slender subject (like this orchid) try putting your hand just behind the subject; it will help your camera to focus in on it :)

Thanks James. I will try that in future. I did disturb a small snake as I took the first pic, so wasn't as keen to get close after in case it had friends. So just took a few extra distant pics.

Ahh fair enough, best to avoid the snakes! Good thing this species of orchid is relatively identifiable even from a distance.
