Unknown native rat, needs identification

I think it might be a black rat (Rattus rattus) given the large ears (if folded forward they reach past the centre of the eye) and the large tail (longer than head and body). Its really hard to tell from photos.

I agree its hard to tell; and for me the tail isnt longer than hb! Still, I agree with the large ears. The jawline is more furry and with a less pronounced neck, I would lean towards Bush Rat
