Plentiful locally, especially late Summer. I once counted 29 on webs overhanging a 1 km internal road. I’m forever walking into their webs , which glisten a glorious gold in the sun, but are invisible when light is low or dull.
It was tough getting good photos with a phone camera, deploying a black, albeit translucent table cloth as a backdrop improved the focus, though not the contrast.
