Another moss on the shade cloth canopy. Perhaps it’s only the prespective that makes this look different, I see this more as an upright blade shape than a whorl, but it may be related to sightings 4649598, 4649605 &/ 4649608.
Again as with all my ‘shade cloth canopy’ * moss sightings, I know little about mosses so there is high risk that I’m conflating species whether within or across sightings.
The other sightings relevant to that comment are: 4649572, 4649587, 4649599, 4649625, 4649636 (this one), 4649639 & 4649653.
* The shade cloth canopy itself collapsed a few years ago and a substantial amount of leaf litter has accumulated in the depression formed in the top, with several ferns & other plants colonizing the underside, rooting deep into the leaf litter, whilst the lichens and to some extent, mosses are mostly on the more exposed areas, where there is less/no leaf litter.
