User's notes

A common plant locally, it has small, but mostly rich blue, 3 petalled flowers. This medium sized runner plant drops roots at every node. Once established, it produces narrow tubers. It also reproduces readily by seed. Photo 2 shows a 2-sided seed pod with the immature white seed visible. (halfway up the RHS). Photo 5 shows a seed pod that has since turned downward and dropped its seeds (again halfway up the RHS). Prefers partly shady areas where soil is moist much of the time.
