User's notes

Known to me as Bladey grass, this thin strappy leafed plant can grow in the most nutrient poor sandy soil as depicted in photos 1 – 3. Photo 4 is of the same plant growing in better soil with more available moisture. The leaves can be razor sharp and cut skin easily if pulling it causes it to slide in the hand.
