User's notes

A soft and lush green grass which prefers growing in semi-shade where there is plenty of moisture. Photo 1 gives a feel for the soft luxuriant wide leaves it produces, on ever continuing stems ,over time. The stems tend to lie on the ground,. The stems can change direction markedly at the nodes, (see photo 2, especially top towards RH corner). The nodes do not appear to produce roots unlike many other sprawling plants of a similar form. Photo 3 shows a typical clump growing on the southern side of a creek. Photo 4 shows an established plant which gets sun for ~ 6 hours in summer, and had been cut back many months before this photo was taken , in mid-October.
