User's notes

This chunky dark russet-brown Orb weaver has a few fine white specks, (mostly symmetrical), on the top back perimeter of the abdomen (photos ), and a roughly v-shaped pale mark towards the top front of the abdomen (photos ). It has 6 particularly distinctive pale yellow spots on the back (abdomen). It has some similarities with spider at sighting 4654480 ~ the white specks, the roughly V-shaped mark, the overall shape, colour and hairiness. The big difference is the absence of the yellow spots on the back of the latter This one was out and into reconstructing/repairing its web for the night before daylight totally disappeared, around 18:00 EDT. Whereas the one at sighting 4654480 ~ didn’t start till after dark, about an hour or more later.
