Years ago I sampled some plants from a swamp near to where this is now growing (in a water holding container). I can’t be sure if it is self sown or one of the plants sampled. I have not seen other examples of it in nearby bush. It has very strappy leaves, doesn’t mind drying out at times, and this is the first I’ve seen it flower. It reminds me of a plant I’ve seen called Liriope.
