User's notes

A small to medium native tree, this was given to me as seeds from ‘Pocock’s Quarry’ in the Punchbowl area (near Copmanhurst where it is now planted). In April it has miniscule, unusually-shaped yellow-green coloured flowers, with a few fine red dots near the opening where red-orange stamens protrude. (Photo 5 shows flower and unopened buds) and the leaves are strong and reasonably glossy. It produces very few seeds.

Looks like foliage and flowers of one of the species of the botanical plant family Lauraceae, eg. one of the 10+ spp. in the region there of the genus Endiandra .
