User's notes

Another patch of Cheese Trees (Glochidion fernandi), casting their soft green light on a Sunny day (photos 1 & 2). The leaves are a glossy & dark green on top, and canopies are thick (photo 5), (when they’re not defoliated by caterpillars!), and yet still let through this much light. This cluster is growing on a Southern Creek bank. The bark is narrowly furrowed, as seen in photos 2, 3 & 4. (In those photos are 2 whiter & smoother trunks intermingled to the far left and in the centre, which belong to Red Ash trees) The cheese trees sucker here quite happily. Photo 5 gives a feel for the general shape of the trees. I believe this to be the same species as the tree at Sighting 4662031.
