User's notes

Large dark red (plum coloured) Bull Ants feasting on a tuna lure! Too busy, I suspect, to worry about the other invertebrates trying to get a look in! Their abdomens are black, and hairy towards the end. Very long antennae which move rapidly (photo 4). The body appears to have a total of 6 segments. I’m seeing similar segmentation in some other ants, e.g. other Bull Ants (sighting 4664494), & Jumping Jacks (sighting 4664536). This appears to be a different bull ant, (though similarly coloured), to that of sighting 4664492, for reasons set out in that sighting.
