User's notes

This is a butterfly chrysalis, (and a shot in the dark ~ I don’t know whether it’s even possible to identify a species from its chrysalis, so here goes). There are a few white markings on the outside, and what appears to be 4 pairs of small protrusions at the top RHS, (photos 1, 2 & 3). Photo 4 is for context, and the vine it is attached to is Common Silkpod, (Parsoonia straminea).
