User's notes

This colourful grasshopper is on a similarly colourful (Guava) tree trunk. Tans, pale yellows & black predominate this intricately marked creature. Black feet on the front pairs of legs merge into lighter shades of tan further towards the body, and are peppered with fine black spots. The rear legs have black feet merging through pale tan to a green brown in their middle sections, which has 2 parallel rows of cream-coloured spines, tipped in black, running up the rear-most surface. The upper rear legs, peppered with black spots, are pale yellow on the underside, merging to pale tan on the upper surface. There are 2 thick bands of black on the upper surface, and brown colouring over the joint with the spiny section of leg. The wings are a light brown and short. The upper & lateral thorax is pale yellow with various small black spots, except for a thick patch of black laced with pale yellow markings on each side. A solid & thick dorsal line of black runs from front to back along the thorax with no discernable markings. The head is a darker tan, with few fine black spots, black antennae, and a black mark extending from the bottom of the blue-grey eyes towards the mandible. I believe this is the same Sp as at sighting 4672747?
