I've had a life long interest in the bush and it's wildlife. I have a PhD in ecology (seed dispersal by ants) and spent my first career teaching botany, zoology and ecology at various universities around Australia. The best part of this was taking students out into the bush to let them discover all the joys it has to offer. Now I love being in the bush with my family and friends watching birds, looking for invertebrates, finding orchids and other plants, especially those dispersed by ants.
