It's great to see a sea turtle sighting. It's hard to identify the species from the photo provided. It looks like a Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) but it could also be a Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), as both species have been recorded at Evans Head. It's most certainly a marine turtle (superfamily Chelonioidea), so I've entered it as such. This is probably a duplicate sighting i.e the same individual at the same time, as this one Chelonioidea (superfamily) (Sea Turtles) , as the photos were taken at the same time.
