User's notes

This large tree has a similar finely rough bark (given the overall size of its trunks), as others I’ve pencilled in as possible blood woods. Photo 1 shows the bifurcated trunk and the canopies above. (The branches & foliage to the immediate & lower left and right of these trunks is not relevant to this tree). Photo 2 shows the full length of the trunks to the bifurcation point, and photo 3 shows the base. With probable thanks to some honey eaters, (feathered or furry!) , some leaves adjoining a cluster of fresh flowers was on the ground near the trunk and immediately underneath the canopy (photo4). Photo 5 shows some more leaves, and flowers at varying stages of dying (especially top left corner but everywhere around the perimeter of the photo), and other debris from the tree that might be useful for identification purposes.
